Roy Krishnan

Roy Krishnan

Founder and CEO, Liquid Sports Lab

I am a career sports scientist who started Liquid Sports Lab from my college dorm in 2020 to use quantitative processes in sports and esports after consulting for major biotechnology vendors like Reboot Motion and seeing the process behind revolutionary data movements like 'Moneyball' in Major League Baseball. In 6 months, our team of 18 and 19-year-old gamers won the Unified Pro-Am World Championship after implementing the quantitative training measures we had developed. This rapid success got me noticed by the Dallas Mavericks, who made me the Assistant Coach & Offensive Co-ordinator of Mavs Gaming and the youngest coach in the NBA 2K League in late 2021. The very next season, Mavs Gaming had their best season of all time, which culminated with a tournament championship, a playoff berth, and the most money the organization had ever made. This led to me being named the youngest Head Coach and General Manager in NBA 2K League history at 23 of the Toronto Raptors' Raptors Uprising, where I successfully rebuilt the team and roster in 2023. I recently left the Raptors to manage the exponential growth of my startup, Liquid Sports Lab, which has gone from a dorm room project to over $250,000 CAD in annual revenue, and hope to continue to be able to grow and be a major player in the biotechnology space.
