Having relocated just last year from Edinburgh, Scotland, to join Argyle as Director, Corporate and Public Affairs, Scott is already helping to cement the firm’s reputation as a leader in Canada’s communications scene. At Argyle, he leads the team supporting Desjardins in Ontario, the Atlantic, and the West, using CEO and economist thought leadership to build the financial cooperative's reputation as a coast-to-coast leader in youth initiatives, sustainability, and entrepreneurialism. He also leads policy communications support for Meta in Canada during a pivotal moment for the industry. Equally, at home in the media, financial, and political landscapes, Scott's experience includes leading strategic communications for a global energy company at the COP26 climate conference in his home city of Glasgow, the sale of London's Gatwick Airport, and earlier in his career, supporting the launch of Diageo's Johnny Walker Princes Street. Scott studied at McGill, St Andrews, and Glasgow universities, where he graduated top of his class and was a national prize-winner.
